OneKeeneKat is a web-site featuring the artwork of Katherine Keene. Much of my artwork lately has been in the ACEO format. ACEO stands for Art Cards Editions and Originals, and have an exact measurement of 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches, the same size as baseball trading cards. Artists Trading Cards, ATCs, have been around for many years, but ACEOs have relatively recently evolved and have become very popular on eBay as a fun way to collect fine art. ACEOs can be made from any media, like painting, drawing, collage, and photography.
Another format I like to work in is square art; usually 4 by 4 inch, but sometimes 6 by 6 or 8 by 8. Square art is fun because it involves designing for the square shape, instead of the traditional rectangle. The picture to the right was taken of me by my husband in the 70s.
